Lille Youth Center

Lille Youth Center is a youth center located in the heart of Tartu with 2 youth centers and is aimed at youngsters aged 7-19.

There is 2 youth centers:

• For youngsters between 7-11. Center is in the first floor and it is open from Monday to Friday from 12 to 18.
• For youngsters between 12-19. Center is in the basement floow and is open from Monday to Saturday.

At the youth centers, youngsters can connect with peers and play board games, pool, table football and Xbox. All activities at the youth center are free and open for participation.

Outside the youth center, youth work specialists working at the center help youngsters with writing youth initiative projects, organise trainings, contribute to organising city-wide events (such as Tartu Children’s Day) and visit schools where they introduce the youth center.

Our youth center’s focus area is health, which we address through six components. These components are mental, environmental, physical, social, spiritual and emotional health. On Tuesdays, we have cooking club and on Thursdays, healthy lifestyle club. On Fridays, various events take place at our center, such as pool tournaments, film nights, celebration of holidays, visits to various establishments, visitors paying us a visit, culture nights, etc. During school breaks, we offer three-day school break programs and often, organise overnight stays.
