The Anne Youth Center for 12-19 year olds is located on the first floor of the building, where young people can play board games, socialize with peers, play table tennis, air hockey or Xbox, do homework, participate in club activities, or simply spend time. All activities at the youth center are free for young people and have open participation.
The Anne Youth Center focuses on youth entrepreneurship and organizes activities such as the Tartu Youth Work Camp, developing entrepreneurship through project writing with young people, promoting volunteer work, and planning school break activities and youth center events.
On Mondays, it's 'Proactive Youth Mondays,' when young people can carry out activities they are interested in at the youth center and plan their own initiative projects.
On Tuesdays, various creative and hands-on activities are held at the youth center.
On Thursdays, a cooking club takes place in every youth center.
On Fridays, movement days are held, during which young people can go to the mat room or participate in active and sports-related activities.
Once a month, the club "New Me Studio" takes place, where each time a topic of interest to young people is explored in depth (e.g., etiquette, self-care, healthy eating).
Social skills are developed through peer-to-peer activities, discussing various topics in discussion groups, and playing board games.
Thanks to its proximity to Tartu Jogentaga School, the Anne Youth Center pays special attention to involving young people with other native languages in activities (integration).
There is a mini-ramp in the yard where you can practice extreme sports. During summer and dry weather, scooters and skateboards can be rented from the youth center with a document, free of charge for young people.
Entrepreneurial Youth Center:
The Anne Youth Center's facilities for younger and older target groups participated in the pilot project 'Entrepreneurial Youth Center,' launched by the Estonian Association of Open Youth Centers (EANK) in the first half of 2025.
The aim of the pilot project was to prepare a statute and a self-assessment model that will help empower youth entrepreneurship, business, and initiative in youth work in the future. Based on the self-assessment tables, quality labels were issued to youth centres. In cooperation with the EANK team, the self-assessment table was reviewed with the Anne Youth Centre team, and the current situation and development opportunities were mapped.
During the program, Anne Youth Centre's annual activity plan was completed, which includes entrepreneurship-related activities throughout the year.
Anne Youth Centre was awarded the 5th, or highest, level quality label, which is valid for 3 years.
