Sign language alphabets (finger spelling charts) are available on the centre's walls. The youth room has a whiteboard that allows for written communication. In case of fire or a security alarm, flashing lights will indicate it in addition to the audible signal. Steps and doorframes are marked with contrasting tape.
The youth center has a ramp to the youth center premises, but there is no wheelchair access to the toilet, office, or other halls. Resources (e.g., board games) are placed at a height that is accessible to young people in wheelchairs. To access the building from the ramp, please call +372 5450 2232 (Manager of Lille youth center) or +372 53 829 835 (Administrative Manager).
At the youth center, all people are accepted regardless of their nationality, language, religion, beliefs, opinions, health status, sexual orientation, age, gender, or any other personal characteristic or attribute.
All activities taking place at the youth center are free for young people.
We have created a web-based guide to enhance the competencies of youth workers in working with young people with special needs. More information: https://erilisednoored.tntk.ee/kodu
