Tartu Youth Work Centre's youth centres offer the opportunity for classes or youth groups to attend workshops held in the youth centres' premises or outdoor areas. The content of the workshops is related to young people's daily lives and learning, and the aim is to enrich school education with non-formal, playful activities. The workshops are primarily designed for participation with a class group, but groups of friends, organizations, etc., are also welcome.
In this workshop, young people will have the opportunity to learn about drama activities and theater games. This is a playful and interactive workshop suitable for young people aged 7-11. Group size up to 25.
The aim of the workshop is to develop youth creativity, self-confidence, and support the development of group dynamics.

In the financial literacy workshop, we learn what expenses and income are, how to manage them, and how to save for a larger goal. The workshop is suitable for the 7-11 age group, with a group size of 10-25 young people. The workshop can be organized on Thursdays and Fridays and lasts 45 minutes.

Cooperation is a key competence for every successful initiative today. In the team games workshop, we establish contact with all participants and learn to achieve results together by solving exciting tasks as a team. In the longer version of the workshop, we delve into the topic of trust within a team. We explore what roles team members need to take on, and finally, we challenge ourselves with a real test! The team games workshop is suitable for the target group aged 7-11, with a group size of 10-25 young people. The workshop can be organized on Thursdays and Fridays and lasts 45 minutes or 90 minutes.

For ages 12-19
In this educational workshop, we delve into the world of project writing. During the workshop, participants can dream, brainstorm, put project ideas on paper, conceptualize them, and finally present them to others. We introduce the various opportunities young people have to write projects and explain the process. Following these workshops, several projects have actually been implemented by young people. In the workshop, we primarily rely on the NOA (Youth Initiative) project and its application form.
The aim of the workshop is to support youth entrepreneurship, creativity, and ideas, providing an opportunity to put their ideas on paper and bring them to life.

For 7-19 year olds
In the educational and practical workshop, we explore nature together according to the season. We learn to recognize different plants, trees, mushrooms, and animal tracks.
Workshop topics by season:
We will discover edible plants growing in nature. We will explore which wild plants are suitable for food and how to identify them.
We focus on trees, mushrooms, and berries. We learn which ones are edible and which are poisonous. We also talk about edible tree leaves and what can be made from birch branches.
We will explore animal tracks, learn to recognize them, and understand which animals are moving around us in winter.
Optionally, the workshop concludes with shared cooking by a campfire, where participants can prepare campfire bread with marshmallows or sausages (45 min).
The workshop is suitable for both children and adults, offering the joy of discovery and new knowledge to every participant.
