We are looking for co-organizers for the Knowledge Day taking place on September 1st

The Tartu Youth Work Center invites hobby education and other youth-oriented institutions to participate in Knowledge Day on September 1 in downtown Tartu. All kinds of workshops, active and fun activities are welcome to introduce young people to the opportunities for hobby education in Tartu and help them find something they like for the new school year or even longer.  

The workshops would be based on the principle of open participation and the activities would be free of charge for participants. Please register your interest via the registration link by June 30, 2023. Registration link https://forms.office.com/e/1i2ngifn54 

Wisdom Day 2023 will take place on September 1 in downtown Tartu, next to the department store. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., with hobby education activities until 8 p.m. Performers on stage, the evening will end with villemdrillemi concert. Wisdom Day is a city-wide back-to-school celebration where hobby schools and clubs open their new academic year. Wisdom Day focuses primarily on active activities and workshops where everyone can get involved, learn new things, and gain experience. Every year, nearly 3,000 students of all ages, from elementary schoolers to high school graduates, take part in the event. 

The Tartu Youth Work Center (TNTK) is a youth work institution administered by the Tartu City Government, operating under the jurisdiction of the Culture Department. TNTK manages five youth centers in Tartu for young people aged 7-19 in three locations: Lille (Lille 9, Tartu), Anne (Uus 56, Tartu), and Ilmatsalu (Järve tee 8, Ilmatsalu).

Students from Annelinna High School visited the Lille Youth Center

The Lille Youth Center, part of the Tartu Youth Work Center, offers young people a wide range of opportunities for participation and personal development. Schools are welcome to visit us for project days or to encourage their students to join our clubs. Let’s celebrate the Tartu Youth Work Center’s eighth anniversary together!

The Tartu Youth Work Center will turn eight on May 2, 2026. We will celebrate the birthday together with the youth on Tuesday, May 5. The center’s director, development manager, project manager, administrative manager, executive assistant, and information specialist will visit the youth centers. Together, we’ll eat cake, play games, and do Kahoot!
