Tartu Wisdom Day is looking for co-organizers and vendors

Knowledge Day is a back-to-school celebration held on September 1st in the city centre, where various hobby clubs are introduced to young people alongside entertainment.

Every year, around 3,000 students of all ages, from elementary schoolers to high school graduates, take part in the event. Various Tartu hobby schools and associations offer interactive workshops, and music and dance schools perform both on and off stage. The day ends with a concert by Liis Lemsalu. This exciting event is a tradition with which Tartu celebrates the start of the school year.

The event location has again been planned as the square next to Tartu Kaubamaja, Küüni Street, and if necessary, Keskpark. If the state imposes additional restrictions due to the spread of the virus, all activities will be dispersed throughout the city.

Providers of hobby education are asked to fill out a questionnaire. As always, we invite organizations to present their activities and workshops at the festival. Last year's open workshops worked very well.

Traders are also asked to fill out a form. The participation fee for companies at events organized by the Tartu Youth Work Center is 69 euros. The participation fee must be paid based on the invoice no later than two weeks before the event. Registration for trading must be completed by August 3rd at the latest, but interest should be expressed as soon as possible. Payment of the participation fee confirms the trading spot. More detailed information is available on the form.

See you on Knowledge Day!

This approach goes beyond merely taking into account differences in origin, gender, abilities, or orientation; it is aimed at removing barriers, expanding opportunities for marginalized and minority groups, and ensuring their full inclusion in all activities. School Break City Camp – One Day, One Place, Lots of Fun!

We put together a varied program for every school break, but City Camp Day is the most special day of the entire break. On this day, Tartu’s youth gather at a single youth center. While all five centers are usually open, during City Camp, activities take place in just one location. This gives young people the chance to visit a place they might not otherwise go to on a daily basis
