Car-Free Avenue youth area is back!

From July to August 12, seven days a week from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the coolest youth area will be open! The most exciting co-organizers, wonderful guests, and performers will be present!

All activities are FREE!

The youth area on Autovabaduse puiestee will be launched on July 6! The opening will feature sports activities, a giant bubble workshop, a photo booth where you can take pictures with your friends, and a concert by An-Marlen and Boipepperoni.

On Thursdays, we invite well-known personalities and influencers such as: Kozip, Karl Gustav Kurn, Säm, Kristi Värik, Anett & Fredi, with whom a pleasant and cozy conversation is held, where listeners can also ask questions.

On Fridays , we invite you to exercise outdoors and try out different sports! Every Friday, there are exciting demo lessons. For example, on July 19, the Tartu Roundnet Club will be there to introduce roundnet, a game that has become popular in Estonia in recent years.

Tuesdays are dedicated to nature and animals, and on Tuesdays you have the opportunity to read aloud to Yohanna, the reading dog !

Yohanna will visit twice: on July 20 and 23. Seating for the reading is limited; the first ten people will be admitted to the activity.

Youth Counselor Oksana Knjaz: “None of us has to handle everything on our own!”

The youth counselors at the Tartu Youth Work Center support young people in precisely these moments, offering them the chance to talk about both everyday worries and more complex issues. Design socks for the Tartu Youth Work Center!

The Tartu Youth Work Center’s sock design contest is about to begin! Design socks using the provided sock template. You can find the template here or get a paper copy from your youth worker. You can create your design by hand or digitally. Include your name, contact information, and—if you’d like—a brief explanation of your design.
