One of the areas of activity of the Tartu Youth Work Center has developed into supporting youth-led projects , which we refer to as NOA. These are projects initiated by young people aged 11-19, whether it be a party, a fair, a training session, a podcast, creative work, or anything else that is aimed at the community or young people. The aim of the activity is to support young people in implementing their ideas and, through this, the community at large. To this end, we provide them with a youth worker who they can bounce ideas off, ask for help with necessary tasks, or even carry out a project with. We also provide financial support for young people's activities, which has increased this year to 400 euros. The project can be carried out alone or in a team, which can even be an entire class!
To get started with NOA, you can find the application form on our website (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeUyw82jK54JOyuii-pSx-quHehAQhX8wVq7DcTzsVraababQ/viewform) to submit your idea, its objectives, budget, and other necessary information. Please read more about youth initiative projects and the conditions on our website beforehand. You can find it here. https://tntk.tartu.ee/tartu-noorsootoo-keskus/noorte-omaalgatus/
