Youth Centers in Summer

Starting in June, youth centers will once again be able to hold indoor activities. In addition, activities will continue on a larger scale in the courtyards of youth centers and in street outreach work, and in July, an outdoor youth center will open on Autovabaduse Boulevard.

Youth centers are open from June until the end of August at the following times:

Ilmatsalu Youth Center: Mon-Thu 13-19, Fri 13-20
Lille Youth Center: Mon-Thu 13-19, Fri 14-21
Anne Youth Center: Mon-Thu 13-19, Fri 14-21

During the summer, our youth centers also host many exciting and summery activities. For example, there will be nature survival days (registration until June 11), a summer kick-off party on June 11, a joint Midsummer celebration, and several other events and excursions.

In addition to the aforementioned locations, the open-air youth centre is open daily from 14:00 to 20:00 between 9.07 and 8.08 in the youth area of Autovabaduse puiestee. Many different sports and creative activities, exciting performers are coming, various games can be rented, you can chat with youth workers, and simply come to spend quality time with friends.
Street youth workers can be met on the streets of Tartu in a larger capacity than before, and in various city districts. The aim of street youth work is to establish contact with young people and guide them to youth work activities that interest them, based on their own needs for self-determination and self-support.

To ensure that the centers remain open for young people throughout the summer and beyond, we continue to carefully follow all safety rules and only come to public places when completely healthy.
