The team at the Lille Youth Center of the Tartu Youth Work Center is organizing Youth Day for the fourth time this year, which will take place on August 12.
This is a celebration of an international day, with understanding the needs of young people as one of its central themes. The event will take place in the courtyard of the Lille Youth Center, where a variety of unique activities will be held from 6 PM to 10 PM. For example, young people will have the opportunity to participate in the 'Psychobus' activity, learn parkour, craft leather pouches, take photos of themselves and friends with a photo booth or Polaroid camera, learn about CrossFit and BMX, refresh themselves with finger food from the Youth Cafe, and discover many other exciting things.
According to youth workers Liisi Trumm and Markos Parve, the biggest attraction last year was the rodeo bull, which they rode several times, breaking each other's records. It's interesting to wonder what this year's Youth Day's biggest attraction will be. But young Kendra believes that the entire concept of last year's party was special. As is usually the case with young people, Kendra also liked that there were many activities and food, and she hopes this year will be even more exciting.
