Tartu Youth Work Centre's radio show “Youth Window” is getting a makeover!

The "Youth Window" show, previously broadcast on Ring FM, is becoming a podcast. The podcast will still discuss Tartu youth centers and their activities, including projects written by young people and those aimed at them, city-wide events, international opportunities, and many other exciting topics concerning young people. Guests on the show will include both specialists working with young people and young people themselves!

Podcasts are an increasingly popular digital media format among both young and old. This new format is also useful and necessary in youth work. With podcasts, we could disseminate youth information to a large number of people, involve young people in creating podcasts, and offer them opportunities for self-development and expressing their opinions. If you have good ideas for topics to cover in podcasts, please let us know!

In connection with the renovation, we are also looking for a new host for the podcast. To apply for the host position, you need to send an introductory video and write us a list of the most important topics you would definitely like to cover in the podcasts. The video and list of topics should be sent to the following email: elisabeth.janes@raad.tartu.ee.

With the acquisition of new equipment, the Tartu Youth Work Centre will also offer a new opportunity for young people in Tartu starting in December. Specifically, young people in Tartu will have the opportunity to use podcast equipment for free. To use the equipment, please contact the person listed below.

The activity Podcast "Youth Window" is implemented with the support of the 2020 Varaait competition!

School Break City Camp – One Day, One Place, Lots of Fun!

We put together a varied program for every school break, but City Camp Day is the most special day of the entire break. On this day, Tartu’s youth gather at a single youth center. While all five centers are usually open, during City Camp, activities take place in just one location. This gives young people the chance to visit a place they might not otherwise go to on a daily basis
