Starting in March, the Lille Youth Centre's Healthy Lifestyles Club will focus on a specific theme each month. So, it was decided with the young people that the club's theme in March would be sleep, in April human relationships, and in May stress. However, this does not mean that if young people are very interested in some other topic during that month, it will be completely ignored. Addressing topics of interest to young people remains one of our core values, and fortunately, the youth centre's schedule is flexible enough to accommodate them. The Lille Youth Centre's Healthy Lifestyles Club is now also available as an Facebook event, where you can get all the month's information.
Regarding health, exciting things are also happening at Lille youth center – in March, the healthy eating training organized by the Estonian Medical Students' Association continues. This training avoids labeling food with 'good' and 'bad' claims, and this time, in addition to discussing the importance of breakfast and lunch and meal planning, the discussion will also cover how to make the environment more suitable for healthy food choices.
Starting on March 3, Mari Paberit will be leading a yoga class at the Lille Youth Center. The yoga class will take place every Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Lille Youth Center theater hall. The main thing is to wear clothing that allows for movement. It would also be good to have a yoga mat, but it is not strictly necessary. For more information about the yoga class, please contact Kauri.Kaljuste@raad.tartu.ee.
