2.-7. September, the final meeting of the TED3 Tools for Employment & Environment Education Development, or TED3 project for short, took place in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
TED 3 is an international environmental Erasmus+ project, created to support sustainable development. The project's goal is to focus on socio-economic development and, at the same time, equip youth work with the necessary methods so that our young people adopt an environmentally friendly mindset and behavior from an early age. The project began in 2019, but due to obstacles caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it had to be put on hold. Now, there was again an opportunity to resume the project and meet collectively.
The purpose of the meeting was to summarize and review what had been done during the project and to improve where necessary. Work was done on recording the latest webinars (you can watch already completed webinars here) and improving the best practices toolkit, youth work bank, and consolidated documents of laws related to the green environment created during the project. The project concluded with a conference that summarized all activities, including job shadowing visits, local workshops, and panel discussions with participating countries.
The project was initiated by the Polish organization Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Czlowieka, with participation from Italy, Spain, Peru, Brazil, and Mexico, in addition to Estonia.
