Jaanika Palm, head of Ilmatsalu Youth Center, looks back at the first year of operation of Ilmatsalu Youth Center as part of the Tartu Youth Work Center. Various nature study days and excursions have become a tradition at Ilmatsalu Youth Center. Support for Tartu youth's self-initiated projects has resumed!
Support for Tartu city youth's self-initiated projects (hereinafter NOA) has started with renewed vigor. For the second year, the Tartu Youth Work Center is coordinating the competition! NOA is aimed at young people aged 11-19 operating in Tartu. The goal of NOA is to support the implementation of young people's ideas, so that they become entrepreneurial and active members of society, to motivate them to notice and solve bottlenecks in Tartu city and the community, and to give them their first project writing experience [...].

During the school holiday, several exciting events are taking place in our youth centers, both inside and outside the buildings. For example, Lille youth center is hosting a youth cafe, Ilmatsalu a mini-multi-event competition, and Anne youth center's holiday program concludes with two training sessions: youth employment training “Innustus II” and a Mental Health seminar. From October 14-16, the seventh meeting of the Enrich project took place in Germany
From October 14-16, the seventh meeting of the Reveal YouropEaN Cultural Heritage, or Enrich_Veszprém project, took place in Passau, Germany. Mariliis, Development Manager, Helene, Project Manager, and Laura, as a youth representative, participated in the meeting from Tartu Youth Work Centre! The theme of the meeting was built heritage, meaning architecture was discussed. The Tartu Youth work camp team, together with the developers, apologizes to all registrants for the glitches that occurred. After the glitches appeared, both teams have worked to find the most suitable solution for all parties. Registration has begun for Tartu Children's Protection Day workshops! (2019)
This year, Tartu City's Children's Protection Day will be a two-day event. On May 31st, an outdoor learning day will take place on the premises of the institutions themselves, and on June 1st, a family festival will be held in Tartu City Centre.
