You are suitable for a group leader position if: – you have a secondary education; – you are interested in working with young people; – you are ready to be a leader and role model for young people. Your tasks during the summer will include: – putting together a group of 13-19-year-olds, leading them, and organizing joint activities. The Tartu Youth Work Center is involved in the international project “TED3 – Tools for Employment and Environmental Education Development,” initiated by the Polish organization Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Czlowieka. From March 3rd to 8th, the project's kick-off meeting took place in Łódź, Poland, attended by Mariliis Maremäe, Development Manager of the Tartu Youth Work Center. Project coordinators from eight countries participated in the meeting: Poland, Italy, Spain, France (French Guiana), Estonia, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil. Over six days, the main points of the 18-month cooperation and the schedule of activities to be implemented during the partnership were established, including training and job shadowing in Latin America, as well as local activities. As part of the nationwide youth work week, we will make young people visible. How? ? ? Rain Jaaksoo won the Tartu Youth Work Centre's logo design competition. Seven entries meeting the requirements were submitted for the Tartu Youth Work Centre's logo design competition, announced in September, and Rain Jaaksoo was declared the winner. The commission, convened by the director of the Tartu Youth Work Centre, evaluated not only the overall visual appeal of the logo but also its suitability for the centre's objectives, the description of the design provided by the author, and its compatibility with Tartu city's general symbolism. According to the commission, Rain Jaaksoo's design overwhelmingly won the competition. The winning entry features several elements that are unified by keywords: youth, growth, development, protection, and Tartu. While elements from Tartu city's symbolism are used in the logo, Jaaksoo gives the logo his own meaning by depicting a child stepping under the protection of an umbrella. Jaaksoo adds…
