The Tartu Youth Work Camp team, together with the developers, apologizes to all registrants for the technical issues that occurred. After the issues arose, both teams have worked to find the most suitable solution for all parties. As of now, registration has closed – we are very pleased that there is so much interest this year. We invite everyone who has not yet registered for a group to register for the reserve group. If there are available spots, we will contact them. We have started forming the groups and are working to ensure that all young people receive information about their youth work camp group in their inboxes by the end of May. This year, Tartu City's Children's Protection Day will be a two-day event. On May 31st, an outdoor learning day will take place on the premises of the institutions themselves, and on June 1st, a family festival will be held in Tartu City Centre.      

Before registering, make sure that you are a registered resident of Tartu city, that you register for a group according to your age, that you are ready to pay the participation fee, and that you know your personal identification code and bank account number! ➡️ REGISTER HERE!     

You are suitable for a group leader position if: – you have a secondary education; – you are interested in working with young people; – you are ready to be a leader and role model for young people. Your tasks during the summer will include: – putting together a group of 13-19-year-olds, leading them, and organizing joint activities. You should take into account: – training (if you complete the training organized by us, you will receive camp counselor certification); – In the summer, one group lasts 7-21 days; – An awesome experience and a decent salary. ✍️To apply, send your CV and a short cover letter on the topic "The Right Group Leader" by March 27 at the latest. The Tartu Youth Work Center is involved in the international project “TED3 – Tools for Employment and Environmental Education Development,” initiated by the Polish organization Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Czlowieka. From March 3rd to 8th, the project's kick-off meeting took place in Łódź, Poland, attended by Mariliis Maremäe, Development Manager of the Tartu Youth Work Center. Project coordinators from eight countries participated in the meeting: Poland, Italy, Spain, France (French Guiana), Estonia, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil. Over six days, the main points of the 18-month cooperation and the schedule of activities to be implemented during the partnership were established, including training and job shadowing in Latin America, as well as local activities. As part of the nationwide youth work week, we will make young people visible. How? ? ? At 5 PM, we will gather at Tartu Town Hall Square to unveil the "Tree of Good Thoughts" with reflective leaves, which will remain there until Friday, spreading good cheer. ? Rain Jaaksoo won the Tartu Youth Work Centre's logo design competition. Seven entries meeting the requirements were submitted for the Tartu Youth Work Centre's logo design competition, announced in September, and Rain Jaaksoo was declared the winner. The commission, convened by the director of the Tartu Youth Work Centre, evaluated not only the overall visual appeal of the logo but also its suitability for the centre's objectives, the description of the design provided by the author, and its compatibility with Tartu city's general symbolism. According to the commission, Rain Jaaksoo's design overwhelmingly won the competition. The winning entry features several elements that are unified by keywords: youth, growth, development, protection, and Tartu. While elements from Tartu city's symbolism are used in the logo, Jaaksoo gives the logo his own meaning by depicting a child stepping under the protection of an umbrella. Jaaksoo adds…
