As part of the winter ball held at Lille House, there was also a unicorn disco for young people. After the disco, we caught the unicorn and asked him a few questions.
Greete: “Let's start with the first question. Where are you from?”
Unicorn Gert: “I, I am from Tallinn, a cold place, a dreadful, imagination-free fashion city.”
Greete: “Are there many like you there?”
Unicorn Gert: “Rather not, we don't even have cows there, but the biggest unicorns there were with cigarette butts.”
Greete: “And what else do you do?”
Unicorn Gert: “Otherwise, I'm a youth worker, right? I mostly work with older youth, aged 12 to 19. I professionally tease them and destroy their dreams of going astray, and then I hope they choose the right path. We do a lot of bromance, I destroy them in billiards and foosball, and I try to do a lot of gaming.”
Greete: “Very good, but what is your favorite food?”
Unicorn Gert: “My favorite food is solyanka; it's great for slurping, and if I put my horn in it, it helps.”
Greete: “And what do you like to do in your free time?”
Unicorn Gert: “In my free time, I like to clatter on the computer. I'm good at playing with my fingers, but I have this extra horn, which allows me to clatter more than others. So, I am a multifunctional gamer.”
Greete: “Do you have any special powers?”
Unicorn Gert: “A good skill is to read people and annoy them extremely, and from there, their true face emerges; they truly reveal who they are.”
Greete: “And how long have you been a unicorn?”
Unicorn Gert: “Oh, that history is long. It started with a student organization where there were unicorns, and then I moved on to another organization that also had a strong unicorn culture, which I also promoted, and which is now dying out
of course, because they lost the unicorn and are becoming more and more just… I have adopted this unicorn culture from several organizations.”
Greete: “What did you want to be when you grew up, when you were still a little unicorn?”
Unicorn Gert: “When I was little, I wanted to be a knight and chase dragons with my horn, but now I just want to grow a new horn and become a devil.”
Greete: “One is already there.”
Greete: “Finally, I would ask for some life wisdom for young people.”
Unicorn Gert: “Don't die until you die!”
Greete: “Great, thank you!”
