On September 1st, 2022, the 'Festival of Wisdom' event, organized by Tartu Youth Work Centre, will take place once again. The event will be held from 3 PM to 8 PM (15-20) in and around the parking lot of the University of Tartu Library. The target group for the 'Festival of Wisdom' is young people.
The Tartu Youth Work Centre invites youth bands who wish for a performance opportunity at a city-wide event and thereby increase their recognition. Please express your interest by emailing karolin.valge@tartu.ee by August 2, 2022 at the latest, and we will then contact you. Please also include a brief description of your activities with your expression of interest.
Tartu Youth Work Center (TNTK) is a youth work institution managed by the Tartu City Government, operating under the administration of the Department of Culture. TNTK manages three youth centers in Tartu: Lille, Anne, and Ilmatsalu, and two children's centers: Lille and Anne. The center's mission is to create an inspiring and innovative youth work environment for young people in Tartu, so that they can develop into active, creative, and happy individuals.
Tarkusepäev is a city-wide back-to-school celebration where hobby schools and others open their new academic year. At the “Tarkusefestival,” the emphasis is primarily on active engagements and workshops where everyone can get hands-on, learn new things, and gain experience.
